I couldn't help but wonder why the Cau Table Lamp had a thick cord hanging off of it. At first I thought it was simply a quirky detail, but as I continued to click through the gallery, I realized that it was attached to the actual light source.
Designed by Marti Guize, the Cau Table Lamp is actually a facade. Yes, it does provide light, but not in the way it pretends to. The "lamp" simply acts as an "avatar" of sorts, while light is actually emitted from the attached worker's light.
