Apparently there still is a practical use for tapes as is seen with the cassette tape table.
This table by Tayble plays on the nostalgia of old cassette tapes to create a dynamic new coffee table that will impress guests and have them reminiscing about the days of tapes all over again. However, beware of confused faces from guests under the age of 25 who probably have no idea what a cassette tape is.
The Cassette Tape Table is made of birch hardwood and features two stainless steel cup holders. Each cup holder has an LED light inside to ad some excitement to you're drink selections. The table comes in a few different color options and every table made is hand crafted. They sell for $1,200.
