The Casio G-SHOCK x Joshua Vides watches are limited-edition models that reinterpret two classic G-SHOCK silhouettes through the artist’s graphic illustration style. The Casio G-SHOCK x Joshua Vides watches include the DW5600JV-7 and the DW6900JV-1, each finished with bold black outlines that make the cases and straps appear hand-drawn. The monochrome designs follow Vides’ “Reality to Idea” concept, which transforms real objects into two-dimensional comic-style illustrations using marker-like strokes and high-contrast graphics.
The rectangular DW5600JV-7 uses a white resin case covered in black sketch lines, while the round DW6900JV-1 features the inverse palette with a black case and white drawn accents. Both watches retain standard G-SHOCK functions including shock resistance, a stopwatch, countdown timer, multi-function alarm, and 200-meter water resistance. The LED backlight reveals a hidden traffic cone graphic referencing Vides’ signature motif, while the stainless steel case back is engraved with the artist’s signature.
