Changing the batteries in your favorite watch can be a hassle, but thanks the solar-powered Casio G-Shock Digital GR-8900A-7ER watch, recharging the juice for this timepiece means spending time in the sun.
Casio is taking an eco-friendly approach when designing watches with its Tough Solar technology. The technology reduces battery waste by implementing micro-solar panels to the face of the Casio G-Shock Digital GR-8900A-7ER timekeeper. This means that more time frolicking in the sun will keep the watch fully charged. The timepiece is a throwback to the older versions of the G-Shock, using the classic, minimal design and ditching the bright colors made popular in recent years for a solid black colorway.
The watch also features the familiar bulky casing for added shock resistance, as well as a multitude of digital functions, both staples in the G-Shock series.
