Disney Feline Mashups

This Artist Reimagines Her Furry Four-Legged Friend as Cartoon Disney Cats

Artist Julia K. illustrated this series of cartoon Disney cats, which are modeled after her own furry feline. This artist decided to create a hybrid version of famed cartoon Disney cats such as 'The Cat in the Hat,' combined with her non-famous feline.

The images show how the artist used her cat’s colored fur, and incorporated iconic characteristics from the Disney kitties to create hybrid portraits. For example, Julia was able to recreate Garfield using this technique. She created a plump, large-eared cartoon cat with a black, gray and white coat, instead of Garfield's original orange fur.

These playful drawings pay tribute to the iconic cats that have emerged from Disney. They also allow this cat-lover to express her admiration towards her own pet through an artistic outlet.
