Carrot Bacon Strips

Carrot Bacon is Crunchy with a Carolina Smoke Flavor

Carrot Bacon debuted at the 2022 edition of the Sweets & Snacks Expo and the shelf-stable crispy vegan jerky is "molecularly expanded" for a signature crunch. The Carolina smoke-flavored bacon alternative is made by marinating slices of carrots and dehydrating them.

Thanks to its use of carrots, Carrot Baon sets itself apart from other meatless jerky strips on the market, notably ones made with "heavily processed soy paste that tries too hard to be meat." The 30-gram pouches need no refrigeration, which makes them ideal for grab-and-go snacking. The versatile meatless strips are simply made with a handful of ingredients like olive oil, maple syrup, tamari and spices.

Increasingly, people are finding themselves open to plant-based alternatives and this carrot-based jerky alternative is a better-for-you choice that's not loaded with undesirable additives.
