The CARROT alarm clock app is an effective, albeit harsh way to wake up in the morning. If you have trouble prying your eyes open and leaving the warmth of your bed, the CARROT alarm clock app is like a personal drill sergeant that will assure you are up and ready to face the day.

The app begins with aggressive tunes like "Smile or Else" and "Won’t You Be My Minion." CARROT makes bribes like offers of ice cream for breakfast and threatens to kill kittens if a user hits the snooze button again. The alarm clock app also gets users to perform tasks in order to get them to wake up. These in-app tasks earn points and with enough of them, users can even put them towards a feature to have CARROT read them a bedtime story.

The app follows the same premise of the CARROT To-Do List app, which becomes more and more aggressive over time if its requests are not followed.
