This massive tribute to the sci-fi robot franchise measures some ten feet and was built by deviantART member pwarner184, an art student from the UK. Aside from being eco-friendly, the cardboard Optimus Prime is remarkably detailed. The boxy shape (no pun intended) of this model hearkens back to the Optimus prime of the firetruck version from the 1980s cartoon.

Many fan models of Optimus Prime have graced the Internet, but this cardboard model is a rarity in the sense of the material used, its detail and height. The fact that pwarner184 decided to go retro with his cardboard Optimus Prime is a nice touch, as many of the models made recently were designed in the more contemporary style.
