Paris has a new water fountain that has been attracting some attention. The city recently launched a new fountain in Jardin de Reuilly where Parisians can get carbonated water as well as spring water. The carbonated water fountain is the first of its kind in France.

The city hopes to decrease the plastic waste from water bottle consumption by offering a limitless supply of the bubbly. Eau de Paris, the city's public water company, is using the carbonated water fountain as an opportunity to rebrand the public water supply as a safe and ecological choice.
