Developed by Germany-based octogenarian Albrecht Schnitzer, the bike features a carbon fiber construction that weighs in at just 10-pounds. The bike will enable a senior to travel around town in a supported way, while also helping them to stay active.
The 'Laufrad' carbon fiber balance bike has a height-adjustable saddle seat, V brakes on the front and rear, an internal cable routing and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Priced at €780, the bike is available for purchase online in a range of colors including blue-gray, blue, magenta, light gray, black, red and orange.
