Tim Hortons' New Caramel Macchiato Donut is a Perfect Drink Pairing

It seems that Tim Hortons is borrowing some flavor inspiration from its drink menu for its new Caramel Macchiato Donut and Caramel Macchiato Timbits.
A Caramel Macchiato is an espresso-based beverage made with espresso, steamed milk, syrup, and caramel sauce. For its new Caramel Macchiato Donut, Tim Hortons took a yeast donut and filled it with a sweet macchiato-flavored cream filling. The whole thing is then topped with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel syrup to mimic the flavors of the drink. The Caramel Macchiato Timbits boast a similar flavor profile, but in the form of bite-sized donut holes made without the macchiato-flavored cream filling.
If that weren't enough, Tim Hortons has also debuted a new Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffin, which is a coffee-flavored muffin filled with a deliciously sweet cinnamon swirl.
