Fiat's Car Advertising Stunt Made a Splash at the Gay Pride Canal Parade

In 2008 and 2010, the Fiat 500 was named the 'Gay Car of the Year'—since it's been a few years since then, the brand set up a unique car advertising stunt to revive the love.

While it's easy for many automakers to drive as part of a gay pride parade that's hosted on the streets, few are able to join in the Annual Gay Pride Canal Parade in Amsterdam. However, Fiat has set itself apart in the past by showing off how its cars can operate on both land and water. For this stunt, Fiat brought a pink version of its car to the parade, branded with a bold #WeLovePink tag. Although the car was small in comparison to other parade floats, it definitely drew attention as it zipped through the canals as if it was driving on a paved surface.
