Jimmy John's is Serving Up a New Caprese Salami Pesto Sandwich

Jimmy John's is offering a hearty twist on a classic Caprese salad with its new Caprese Salami Pesto Sandwich.

Just as the name suggests, the new Caprese Salami Pesto Sandwich takes all the elements of salad by the same name, but pairs it with Jimy John's signature sandwich ingredients. The new dish starts with slow-roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, all-natural Genoa salami, basil pesto, olive oil, oregano, onion, mayonnaise, and a drizzle of a sweet balsamic glaze. As the brand's Director of Culinary Innovation, Dustin Hilinski, explains, "We set out to develop a sandwich that was full of delicious Italian flavors. But we also wanted to make it unique to Jimmy John’s, which starts with hand-sliced salami – because we’ve always hand-sliced our meats as that makes all the difference."

The new Caprese Salami Pesto Sandwich is available now from participating Jimmy John's locations.
