Some donuts are light and fluffy while others are denser -- these cake donuts will be enjoyed by everybody regardless of their preference. Created by food blogger Jess of How Sweet It Is, the Tres Leches Cake Donuts are apparently completely addictive. They make a great dessert following celebratory Cinco de Mayo tacos and margaritas, as well as a tasty Mother's Day treat.
The tres leches glaze is not a traditional one because it substitutes one of the milks for a full-fat canned coconut milk. It also calls for condensed milk, half and half a well as freshly grated nutmeg. The cakey texture of the donuts allows the glaze to really soak in and up the delicious factor too.
