SPACES WITHIN Presents the Patina of Use Exhibition

— June 19, 2025 — Art & Design
The Stockholm-based architectural hardware brand SPACES WITHIN presents Patina of Use, a contemplative exhibition at Copenhagen's 3daysofdesign that reimagines cabinet hardware as evolving artifacts rather than static functional elements.

The immersive showcase celebrates the aesthetic transformation of objects through time and human interaction. The showcase presents various cabinet hardware — from door pulls to door handles — that gains character through repeated use.

Architect Daniel Kutlesovski's spatial design for the Patina of Use exhibition extends this philosophy by creating an environment where material aging becomes an artistic virtue rather than a defect. The showcase introduces two new additions to the collection — the arch-shaped LUNA pull with its bracelet-like detailing and the rectangular SAGE handle with its balanced proportions. Both offerings exemplify the brand's fusion of sculptural elegance and tactile functionality.
