LG Confirms the Upcoming Release of a Star Wars-Themed Television

LG is releasing a limited-edition Star Wars edition of its 65-inch ‘C2 OLED Evo TV.’ The entertainment company has confirmed that only 501 units of the themed television model will be manufactured, making this a unique collector’s item for any Star Wars fans.

The television will feature a “Star Wars-themed cosmetic design,” which many assume means that the TV will implement graphic elements from the Star Wars universe (ex. ‘Imperial Crests,’ Star Wars logos) on the frame or center stand. The television remote is expected to mimic the sound and design of a lightsaber, but fans are not sure which character’s weapon LG will be focusing on.

Pricing and release date details have not yet been confirmed, but LG claims that “the TV will be available via LG.com with specific availability announced at a later date,” according to the press release.
