LG Released a Dedicated Webcam to Take Calls on its Smart TV Lineup

The 'VC23GA' is a smart webcam that can be connected to LG’s webOS-powered smart TVs via USB. It has a full HD resolution, two built-in microphones, a privacy cover, and a magnetic mount. It can be used for various activities such as video calls, fitness classes, interactive games, and telehealth. It works with many of the apps and services available on LG’s webOS platform, such as RemoteMeeting, Exercite, FlexIt, Fun Mirror, and HomeDance.

The VC23GA was announced by LG on June 28, 2023 and is now rolling out globally. It costs $100 USD and can be purchased from LG.com and various online retailers. It is compatible with any 2022 or newer LG TV running either webOS 22 or 23. It is designed to enhance the user interaction and convenience of LG’s smart TVs, which are known for their excellent picture quality and diverse content offerings.
