Electronics brand NAD has opted to ride the retro audio wave with the launch of its new limited-edition 'C 3050 LE Stereophonic Amplifier.' The new device looks as if it was lifted straight from the 1970s; its design mirrors the hi-fi, analog aesthetic that defined most of the decade's electronics.
In particular, the piece features a walnut veneer case and golden LED-lit VU meters that light up the right and left channels. According to the company, the 'C 3050 LE Stereophonic Amplifier' was created to commemorate the brand's 50th anniversary; NAD was established in 1972, which explains the designer's choice to leverage retro-focused style elements. In addition, the record player is being limited to a run of just 1,972 total units.
