The Burberry Fall/Winter Series Boasts Frills That Take It Back in Time

During London Fashion Week, Christopher Bailey revealed his Burberry Fall/Winter 2016 collection, which comes ready to buy.

While styles varied throughout the lengthy runway show, a great number featured frilled necks and cuffs, flowing cuts and elaborate sleeves -- effectively giving the pieces a bit of a pirate-like look. While some shirts boasted this, the rest of the ensembles usually traveled to another time period, making the Burberry Fall/Winter 2016 selection incredibly eclectic.

Playing with prints and textures alike, Christopher Bailey proved that unconventional choices could be brought together for a cohesive style and that different eras could be intermingled however he saw fit. By using a tapestry-like material on blazers and pants, or pastel velvet for entire outfits, certain styles have a vintage appeal that's ripe with luxuriousness.
