KIA's GT Ride App Lets You Build a Racetrack by Moving Your Body

— April 14, 2014 — Autos
KIA's GT Ride app allows you to build a racetrack, but in a much more dynamic way than you've ever experienced before. As KIA notes, its GT model is a car that's equipped for speed, but racecar drivers aren't part of their usual demographic. In order to introduce the appeal of the KIA GT to a young, male and tech-savvy audience, KIA developed the KIA GT Ride app.

With the app, users must build a racetrack by moving their phone or tablet, creating loops, swerves and death-defying drops. After designing a truly terrifying course, you can invite your friends to try it out on Facebook or the GT Ride website and at the same time, give the GT Ride a high-speed test run.
