Brush Monster Builds Healthy Brushing Habits with Augmented Reality

In the 2020 German Design Awards, Kitten Planet's Brush Monster toothbrush was named the winner of the design competition and honored in the category for Excellent Product Design: Baby and Child Care. The smart brushing education kit for kids introduces an app-connected experience that relies on augmented reality to encourage healthy brushing habits.

When using the smart toothbrush, kids can use the app as their mirror. As the app analyzes the locations of teeth with the help of the toothbrush's built-in sensor, Brush Monster helps to make sure that the entire mouth is getting clean with guidance and gamified elements. Much like visiting the dentist, after brushing with the app and electric toothbrush, kids get a dental report on areas that they could improve on.
