Charitable Art Shoes

Brush Footwear and Max Talbot Donate Colorful Kicks to Haitian Kids

Brush Footwear is a shoe-art store created by artist Benjamin Smith. Recently Brush Footwear got together with Pittsburgh Penguins center Max Talbot and his aptly named Max Talbot Foundation to help donate 1,500 pairs of shoes to needy children in Haiti.

The 1,500 shoes donated to the Haitian children will first be painted on by children of the Max Talbot Foundation before they are sent off. I love how Brush Footwear has so easily managed to open kids up to art and activism at the same time.
