KAWS Gives the Brooklyn Nets a New Uniform Update

KAWS works in collaboration with the NBA for the first time with a new jersey design for the Brooklyn Nets. The Brooklyn-based artist has been tapped by the team to create its new City Edition kit with Nike for 2023-2024. He is also adding some playful elements to the white and black team colors.

The new seasonal design follows the uniforms that were inspired and honored by Jean-Michel Basquiat. The new design sees the Nets wordmark in playful balloon lettering that is bound to stand out on the courts. The theme continues to the shorts as well with the classic "XX" branding emblem nodding to KAWS, whose real name is Brian Donnelly, on the waistband.
