The conceptual Braille calculator is a piece of equipment for those with visual impairments that will enable them to perform calculations at their leisure in an intuitive manner. Designed by Merve Our Sökmen, the calculator features two sections including the right side with groups of buttons and the left side for displaying work in the form of Braille thanks to an expansive activity surface. The ergonomic design of the buttons and activity surface is further enhanced by audio functionality that will help users to keep track of their work; audio is spoken through the built-in speaker or via headphones thanks to a 3.5mm port.
The conceptual Braille calculator draws design inspiration from Logitech devices and helps to address the increasing need for accessible products.
