Boutique caterers Bompas & Parr created a rather special drive-through restaurant—Monnow Valley Drive Thru and Drive In Movie Theatre—for the Abergavenny Food Festival. Boy, did they pull it off. I think it remains one of the best mobile eating experiences ever.
Not only did they create a pop-up drive-through restaurant and movie theater, Bompas & Parr ensured the feeling of cool was carried throughout the experience with custom ‘Happy Meal’ boxes designed by CZWG Architects.
Films such as “Pulp Fiction” were screened and a hot dog-eating contest took place. There were even food based performances from The Flock of Burgers, including their food-based performance called “The Prance of the Burgers.”
