The Bop Lamp by Baita Bueno is Adorable

— January 23, 2010 — Art & Design
If you’re looking to add a bit of playfulness in your otherwise mature and functional living space, I’m sure the Bop Lamp is up to the task. Inspired by the classic toy Bop Bags, I think the byproduct may be light, not fun.

Designed by Baita Bueno, the Bop Lamp features a simple design almost belying its fun appeal. According to Naresh Chauhan, the Bop Lamp is finished in injection molded ABS thermoplastic, integrating a transparent methacrylate lens and concrete ballast that when pushed bounces the lamp back to set it in motion.
