The newest API from Body Labs called 'Body Labs Blue' is a unique retail tool that gives consumers confidence about measurements when shopping online for clothing.
The embeddable web interface uses 3D body scanning, modeling and imaging, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning in order to help consumers get a better understanding of fit. By taking just a shopper's height and weight, Body Labs Blue is able to produce 17 measurements that can be refined by a consumer. This technology is ideal for both ready-made and custom clothing pieces that are sold online.
With this system, Body Labs Blue has been successful in reducing clothing returns by more than 40%, whole also boosting conversion rates, repeat business, web traffic and purchases of higher volumes.
