BMW Art Cars is a unique art exhibit for a few reasons. The first reason is that it uses the iconic BMW frame to create beautiful pieces of modern art, and another reason is because it doesn't feel restricted by the brand at all, as anything and everything is allowed and enforced.
When you bring together art and design, which by definition are opposites, you tend to get some pretty amazing results. The idea behind BMW Art Cars is that the artists have to conform to the shape of the car, but that's it; other than the physical shape of the vehicle there are no constraints.
We see everything from regular BMW sedans to full-blown race cars get completely reworked into functional and forward-thinking art pieces in BMW Art Cars.
