Beloved Cartoon-Inspired Coins

The Royal Australian Mint Presents Official Bluey Coins

The Royal Australian Mint celebrates one of its most beloved cartoon characters with the new Bluey coins. The limited-edition capsule of Dollarbucks features Bluey and her friends dubbed the 2024 Bluey Dollarbucks. This marks a special milestone as this is the first time that the Mint is working together with a children's television program. It fuses bright colors from the show.

One of these sees Bluey by herself and another sees the entire Heeler family posing together. The third coin sees Bluey and Bingo together, both of who are dressed up as the Grannies. The creators add a subtle detail for a fun touch. Kate O'Connor, director of brands and licensing ANZ at BBC Studios notes, “Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the hidden long dogs!”
