Vibrant Smokebomb Photography

The Blossom Project Photos Capture Smokebombs Around the World

The Blossom Project is a beautiful and incredibly visually appealing photo project, put together by noted artists Isabelle Chapuis and Alexis Pichot, that consists of a series of photos taken in the wake of smoke bomb detonations set off by the artists themselves.

What Chapuis and Pichot did was to set off smoke bombs in some of the most beautiful and famous corners of the world, in locations in the USA, Spain, Morocco, Guatemala, Turkey and more. They then went about taking photographs of the vapor before vanishing.

Ultimately, the Blossom Project is a celebration of our planet and the visual beauty that it offers up. Meanwhile the smoke bomb aspect aims to convey how people and the world can interact.
