These photographers by Amsterdam, Netherlands-based documentary and travel photographer Mirjam Bleeker were captured in hotels and inns in places all around the world. The photos capture the cultural and climatic essence of each place, and invite the viewer to take in the sights and scents of exotic locales.

For the series, Mirjam Bleeker didn't shy away from letting handsome amounts of bright light bathe the interiors of her subjects, giving them an extremely ethereal and interior character.

The images are unabashedly dreamy, giving each scene a strong sense of transience. The bright white character of each photograph allows Bleeker to set the scenes in a slightly awry and natural fashion. The influence of the light makes each scene look remarkably carefully and meticulously planned even if it was untouched in reality.
