The 'BlancoWhite' Collection Makes LED Light Softer on the Eyes

The 'BlancoWhite' Collection is a set of illuminated furnishings designed by Antoni Arola for Santa & Cole. The set consists of six pieces, each with an LED light emanating out from underneath.

The purpose behind the BlancoWhite Collection is practical and simple. The illuminated tables, chairs and shelves were created to make LED lighting less offensive to the eyes. The lights on the furniture are designed in a way that every piece is lit evenly with the concentration of light becoming denser as you get near the center. LED lighting is still a ways away from being a household staple. Practical integrations of the electricity-saving bulbs such as the BlancoWhite Collection could be a great way to encourage people to make the switch.
