This Furniture from Blå Station Makes Use of a Strange Bubbly Design

Designer Stefan Borselius created a collection of curvaceous furniture pieces for the Swedish firm Blå Station.

The resulting products look like they're taken from a Dr. Seuss book, with the living room set boasting bubbly and whimsical shapes. Included in the collection for Blå Station are a number of comfortable chairs, footrests and tables, which Stefan Borselius offers in various color options that correspond with one another while simultaneously contrasting.

One variation shows a bright coral chair with a number of different peach-toned tables and footrests. Another shows a more subdued brown chair that's complemented by its light blue counterparts. Stefan Borselius adheres a silver ring on the sides of many of the pieces, giving the collection a metallic pop. Some appear on the bottom of the pieces whereas others are at the top.
