Baskets on the front of male bicycles aren't a common sight, but MAIK is hoping to change that with the Bike Crate. The Bike Crate is a bicycle basket designed specifically for men that's made out of 100 percent recyclable materials.

The Bike Crate is designed to withstand all of the perils that male bicyclists may throw at it, including inclement weather and scrapes. While I don't know how receptive men will be to mounting this basket onto their bikes, I do like the idea behind its design. Double standards traditionally (always) favor men, but there are a few, such as baskets on bicycles, that cater specifically towards women. For the low price of $215 you can directly help break this cycle of prejudice and pain.
