Beneo Launches a Plant-Based Nutrient Toolbox for Animals

Beneo, a company dedicated to providing functional ingredients for the food industry, has introduced a new pet nutrition toolbox with wheat gluten, rice, fava bean-based protein, and more for pet growth and nutrition. The toolbox includes everything needed for digestion health, metabolic support, healthy coats, cognition, and glutamine for intestinal cell wall growth.

The toolbox's star ingredient is a vital wheat gluten ingredient, which helps deliver amino acids and protein while encouraging smoother digestion. The rice ingredient is also hypoallergenic and easily digested.

“Thanks to its excellent water absorption capacity, it also increases juiciness in semi-moist or wet pet food and is, therefore, a valuable alternative to spray-dried plasma,” said Karel Thurman, commercial director for animal nutrition at Beneo.
