Heatherwick Studio Unveils Designs for the Belvedere Park

British architecture firm Heatherwick Studio has taken on a design project creating a structure on top of the elevated Belvedere Park. This is nestled in Louisville and is meant to be a powerful and exciting addition to the city. It is currently in the design phase of the process and it will be at the event space overlooking the Ohio River.

The executive partner at Heatherwick Studio, Stuart Wood shared with Dezeen, "Belvedere has an incredible potential to become a new green 'living room' for Louisville and its people. Our design will stitch together the Ohio riverfront and connect it to the expansive parks beyond. We've been listening to the community and hear a huge appetite for something powerful, exciting and new to happen."
