Heartbeat-Synced Clocks

The UJI Clock by 'Being and Dying' Changes the Way One Thinks About Time

The UJI clock was designed by the team behind Being and Dying, which consists of Jonathan Chomko, Federico Floriani as well as Ivor Williams. The guys came up with a clock that changes the way one thinks about time in a slightly disturbing way.

The clock actually syncs up to one's heartbeat, and ticks on the wall the same way a regular clock would. Instead of looking up to tell the time, you are glancing up to see just how steady that health is coming along. What I love about this design is it solidifies that time for people comes with an end date, and people should make the most of their lives while they can.
