While you might not ever expect your dog to enjoy a beer drink, now you treat your favorite pop with a pint of a Flat12 Paws. This unconventional beer designed by brewery Flat 12 Bierwerks is designed exclusively for canines.
This beverage isn't what you'd typically expect to find when you think of conventional beer. Valerie Green the brand's marketing director explains, "We wanted to make something really good for them, but also a treat. Plus it is safe, [has] no alcohol and [has] no carbonation." Instead the beverage is made with meat trimmings, bone broth, veggies, and brewers yeast. Once the mixture has cooked, beer is added to deepen the flavor while the alcohol content is killed off due to the mixture's high cooking temperature. A bottle of Flat12 Paws will be available for purchase with all the money being donated to an animal shelter.
