Musical Artist Embroidered Patches

Thundercat and BEAMS RECORDS Join Forces on a Set of Patches

BEAMS RECORDS works in collaboration with artist Thundercat for the second time -- this time around, the two launch a collection of patches. The first project the two worked on together spotlighted the track 'Dragonball Durag' that dropped earlier this year and the newer drop celebrates the LP 'It Is What It Is.'

Aoi Sangyo designs the intricate patches that are threaded with detailed embroidery. It features a playful portrait of Thundercat alongside three cats, as he wears a pair of thick framed sunglasses holding a cat against his face. Another patch features a cat climbing on him and another cat in his arms. The intricate work is showcased through details such as thin strands that make up his hair and even his moustache.
