Juicy Barbecue Burgers

While many fast food chains continue to introduce paired-down dishes that will appeal to health-conscious consumers, sister chains Checkers and Rally’s are taking the opposite approach by adding even more ingredients to existing menu items. The latest dish to receive an indulgent upgrade is the chains' ever-popular Big Buford burger.

The new BBQ Bacon Big Buford burger is similar to the existing Big Buford in that it features two beefy hamburger patties, two slices of American cheese, red onions, iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, mayo and dill pickles. The difference is that the new version of the burger also include two slices of extra-crisp bacon and a generous helping of smoky BBQ sauce. The result is an ultra-indulgent -- and significantly more messy -- version of a hearty beef burger.
