19-Year-Old Irish Whiskeys

Barrel & Batch Introduce New Single Pot Irish Whiskey in Australia

Australian whiskey co-op Barrel & Batch has announced the launch of its newest spring expression, a 19-year-old Redbreast Irish Whiskey.

The new single pot still Irish whiskey was made at the Middleton Distillery in Country Cork and is set to become an instant classic for Aussie whiskey-lovers. In addition, the premium expression arrives at a time when Irish whiskey sales are exploding around the world, making it a particularly rare and noteworthy bottling.

“Appreciation of Irish Whiskey is booming worldwide. Age statement and single cask whiskies are selling at ridiculous prices overseas and are going to be much harder to source in the coming years,” Barrel & Batch wrote in a recent statement. “Thanks again to everyone for supporting Barrel & Batch and making amazing opportunities like this happen.”
