Barbour x New Era 9TWENTY and Adventure Hat Add Weather Protection

— April 23, 2026 — Art & Design
The Barbour x New Era collaboration introduces two hat styles based on New Era’s 9TWENTY and Adventure Hat silhouettes. Both are constructed using Barbour’s waxed cotton, a material traditionally used in outerwear for its water-resistant properties and durable finish. The 9TWENTY retains its unstructured crown, curved brim, and adjustable strap closure, while the Adventure Hat adopts a bucket-style form with a wider brim designed to provide increased coverage from sun and rain.

The collection is offered in three colorways, including olive, black, and brown, with each version finished using Barbour’s signature coating process. Co-branded detailing appears through embroidered logos positioned on the front and side panels, alongside tonal stitching that follows the structure of each hat. The construction preserves the original proportions of both silhouettes while adapting the material finish, with the release scheduled for April 28 across Barbour’s stores and selected stockists.
