Bamboo-Made Skyscrapers

This Trio of Sustainable Towers Will Be Connected By Bridges

Vietnamese studio Vo Trong Nghia Architects recently unveiled plans to create a group of three bamboo-made housing buildings. This set of eco-conscious homes will feature bamboo-made sun shields that will drape over each balcony and act as an elegant home garden for each apartment unit.

The housing buildings will each reach a 22-storey height and house a combined 720 people. All of the buildings will also be connected by aerial bridges, which will feature the bamboo plants as well.

The towers plan to be erected in Ho Chi Minh City. With a vast amount of foliage and bamboo accessories, the buildings will also contain numerous small pavilions to overlook the waterways below. There are two rivers that will weave through the scenery below the buildings providing an exotic view.
