To help encourage more consumers to cast their votes this election season, these mobile ballot booths provide a portable way to bring the voting locations to citizens -- rather than the other way around. The design for the mobile ballot booth on wheels takes its design from a food truck, allowing the polling station to be brought to different areas throughout the day. Rendering the voting area mobile is one way the government can aim to increase votes.
According to Ada County Clerk's Office chief deputy Phil McGrane, the mobile voting stations will allow for more ways consumers can vote. The trucks can be set up outside of popular business areas in urban spaces before and after work hours, to make it easier for consumers to cast their decision.
