Musician Jack White celebrated the release of a new album with a balloon record launch. The former White Stripes and Raconteurs front man released his new solo album at the start of April, and what better way to celebrate than with balloons.
For this publicity stunt the recording company Third Man Records attached his new album, Free at 21, to various balloons before launching them into the heavens. Hopefully this publicity stunt will be a sign of things to come for Jack White, as he surely hopes his album soars up the charts as fast as these floating freebies floated up to the sky.
This is a great way for a singer to get noticed, as long as the falling records don't cause any damage!
