Azteca Stadium Has Custom Furniture and Redesigned Hospitality Spaces

Azteca Stadium's hospitality overhaul introduces 15,000 square metres of redesigned interiors ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Led by Mexican studios CUAIK | CDS, Luis Huerta, Estudio Ignacio Urquiza Ana Paula de Alba, CAAM Arquitectos, and Clásicos Mexicanos, the project updates lounges, reception areas, clubs, and circulation spaces while preserving the modernist identity of the historic venue. Distinct colour palettes organize the interiors, with terracotta entry zones leading to hospitality spaces finished in yellow and green tones, complemented by wood detailing, central bars, and direct connections to the seating bowl.

A custom furniture line called Colección EA was developed specifically for the project, drawing on the stadium’s architecture through coordinated colours, forms, and proportions. The redesign also includes an expansive east-side lounge with views of both the pitch and the surrounding city, along with a sequence of clubs positioned beneath the stands near player and tunnel areas.
