"Line" by Aykut Erol won Design of The Year at the 2006 Istanbul Design Week. Line has become one of the most astonishing design proposals of recent time with its simplicity and a clever understanding of space. These funky, Turkish racks are an innovative way to decorate halls or walls.

Implications - Though artists often whine that everything has already been done, there is a positive side in the fact that they are forced to be much more creative. Today's open-minded artist is put in a position where creativity must be found in alternate means, such as experimentation with mediums and the integration of everyday art that is fun and functional.
