Ay Lelum, The Good House of Design Spotlights Wearable Art Pieces

— November 12, 2025 — Fashion
Ay Lelum, The Good House of Design celebrates wearable art and cultural storytelling with the release of its Tencel Poncho Collection, part of the new Good Elements series. Each poncho is crafted from soft, sustainable Tencel and adorned with patterns that celebrate the late Joel Good’s artistry -- geometric, abstract interpretations of Traditional Coast Salish design.

Available in four colorways, including Green, Dark Sienna Red, Periwinkle Blue with Black, and Ivory with a new multicolored motif, these ponchos embody both elegance and heritage. Every design is rooted in Joel Good’s Your Spirit Collection, honoring his creative legacy through forms that reflect Coast Salish principles of balance, movement, and connection.

Led by Aunalee Boyd-Good, Ay Lelum is a multi-generational family design house based in Snuneymuxw First Nation (Nanaimo, BC). Known for creating culturally respectful, inclusive garments, the brand continues to bridge tradition and modern fashion, inviting consumers to wear a piece of Coast Salish art with purpose and pride.
