It sounds like an impossible feat, but Swedish start-up sneaker company Axel Arigato releases a new pair of shoes every day.
This level of production is something that's expected from huge shoe brands like Nike or adidas. A quick look through the Internet provides ample evidence of the speed and frequency with which these giants gift the world with new shoe designs. For smaller companies, however, there's less room for failure, and they often sacrifice quantity in favor of an on-point sense of style. Axel Arigato aims for -- and achieves -- both. The Scandinavian label is making waves because of its unique, minimal taste, but it nonetheless is producing new designs at an incredibly rapid rate. Because it sells exclusively through its own online store, it's much easier for Axel Arigato to scrap models that don't work and boost ones that do. It's the perfect retail design for today's fast-paced world, where everyone wants the latest, greatest thing.
