ASICS and Studio Hagel Join Forces on the Stealthy NEOCURVE

— November 1, 2024 — Art & Design
Studio HAGEL works in collaboration with ASICS on a new footwear model in the form of the ASICS NEOCURVE. This is a unique result rooted in sustainability and transparency. The silhouette is crafted from grinded-up footwear with headstock materials and defective shoes.

This brings forth the circular design element as the brand also taps Fast Feet Grinded, a Dutch shoe recycling company to help in the manufacturing process. The result is a low-profile silhouette resting on top of a curved sole unit at the base which is informed with a bounce to it. The sleek aesthetic is finished with a technical and futuristic look with metallic details on the tongue and logo to round it all out.
